It’s that time of year when the attention of most people in this state begins to turn to college football. I know many people who go to every Auburn or Alabama game, their closets are full of Orange and Blue, or Crimson and Houndstooth, and their houses have full rooms of team memorabilia. You see all have a desire to be connected with something that is bigger than ourselves.
And while there is nothing wrong with having a favorite team, this desire will never rightly be fulfilled until we are connected to God in worship.
Do you have a church home where you are regularly joining with other Christians to worship the Lord? Do you have an active prayer life where you are regularly seeking God’s will for your life?
Until you are connected with the Almighty God in consistent, humble, and sacrificial worship you will never truly be fulfilled, no matter who your favorite team may be.
I’m Jason Dees encouraging you to Think Through It.
