As the summer approaches I think it is appropriate to ask the question of time. You only get so many summers in your life, and so “what are you doing with your summer?” Are you doing anything this summer that will make you grow as a man or a woman? The Bible reminds us in James 4:14 that our lives are but a vapor that appears for a time and then vanishes, and in Ephesians 5:16 the word of God tells us to “make the most of every opportunity.” I want to encourage you to do three things this summer. One thing that will make you smarter – read a book, go visit a historical site, or watch a Ken Burns documentary. Do one thing to make you healthier – change your diet, or begin an exercise routine. And do one thing that will make you holier – get back into church, begin a Bible reading plan, or join a small group. Life is short; so don’t waste your summer.
I’m Jason Dees encouraging you to Think Through It.
